Pursuing World Making through Decolonial Science and Indigenous Feminist Philosophies

Boozhoo! I'm a Métis descendent of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, Gates Millennium Scholar, and PhD student within the Department of Natural Resources Science and Management at the University of Minnesota.

I am passionate about all things STEM and have been very lucky to enjoy an academic and professional career working on everything from computational chemistry to green energy design in Mongolia.

Presently, I am shifting my academic and professional focus to Indigenous Science in an effort to be a good relative and ancestor. I hope my work at the University of Minnesota and within my communities can serve as an opportunity to utilize my background to center Indigenous philosophies and methodologies in science to do my part in creating a better world for Indigenous peoples.
